"Committed to the Education and Preservation of Horn Working"

A Guild of Contemporary Horn Workers and Collectors

Welcome to the HCH's web home.

Founded in 1996, we became a

  501 (c) 3 in 2002.  Currently, we have

about two hundred members nation wide,

ranging from the casually interested to the

  serious horn collectors and workers.

Most of our members became interested

in horn working and collecting as a direct

result of the modern revival of muzzle

loading firearms.  Our appreciation of the

historic horn trade grew out of our interest

in the powder horns of the French and

Indian War and the American Revolution.
